May 31 2026Let's begin this day with confidence. Greetings Saints! Begin this day with the confidence in God's unfailing love and His direction. Before any battles that come our way today, as believers we should focus all our thoughts on God's mercy never forgetting we must first put our trust in Him. Each day should start while we remind ourselves not to rely on our own understanding, but to relay on His will, His strength and understanding which will get us through any challenging moments. Today is a new beginning and we, like King David, only have to ask, Lord, "show me the way I should go." By faith, we accept that we do not have all the answers knowing God will direct each step, each action and each choice we make. With hearts giving thanks we say, "...for to you I entrust my life.".  Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 30 2026🙏Praying for others is a way of keeping God first in our hearts and lives. Greetings Saints. When we show our love for others by praying for them, we open the door to witness what only God can do. Blessings come through obedience. Blessings will come close and stay close when we obey the Lord. His favor will track us down and catch us by surprise when we continue to do our best to honor Him and align our life with His. Please, pray for me. I am praying for you.  Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 29 2026 — Every believer has a gift and none of us are excluded. Whether our gift is teaching, encouragement, organization, or simply a listening ear, it is a purposeful, God-given talent. Greetings Saints! As believers, we do not own our gifts. We are stewards entrusted to manage these gifts according to God's will and direction. These gifts from God manifest differently in each person. Embrace the specific gifts given to you and use them. Using our gifts isn't to draw attention to ourselves, but to point others to the grace and love of God's kindness. Let us remind ourselves why we chose this path and why we selected the Christian priorities we now follow. Treasure the things we treasure. Admire, appreciate and be inspired by all that is good and beautiful. God gave us the skills - don't be afraid to use them! Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 28 2026💦 God gives many good gifts. Greetings Saints. He is the “fountain of living water", and when we drink of God’s Spirit, we receive this supernatural supply. Jesus speaks about this gift from God: “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart’”. The Bible further explains that, “When he said ‘living water,’ he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him...". God's gifts are something believers like us can not earn, nor do we deserve. His gifts are a new life radiating from the Holy Spirit within. These gifts are for everyone and are free and as the Bible says, too wonderful for words. God’s gift of the Holy Spirit equips and empowers believers to be ambassadors for Christ and to triumph over dark forces in this world. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 27 2026 • It's a daily struggle to feel we are being as strong as possible, but it seems just as important for us to hide any frailties or needs from one another. Greetings, Saints. We all do it and feel we do it well, but we can't hide anything from God. None of us want to look weak. He sees us and sees every part of us—frailties and all. We have to remember WITHOUT being ashamed, we can go boldly and with confidence to Him when we need assistance. There’s no shame in admitting that in this life, we require assistance. Ignoring that there's a problem won't make the problem fade away. It's a part of living a good life that there will be times we fall whether physically or emotionally. Knowing we’re not alone should comfort us as we persevere. As our loving Father helps each of us, He empowers us to reach out to others when they are in need, affirming they too aren’t alone. The opportunity to help someone is the opportunity to help ourselves as well. I want to thank each of you for sharing with me these moments of devotion knowing God is lifting you up as much as He's lifting me. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 26 2026 🥱In a season when King David was losing sleep and had many sleepless nights, his mind was troubled with thoughts of how his son who behind his back was planning to take over his kingdom. When a messenger informed the king that the hearts of the people were successfully being swayed and aligning with his son, David said, "Lord, how many are my foes?" GREETINGS SAINTS. King David found peace and comfort knowing that God is his shield of protection and the help we all need when we fret over our circumstances. Eventually He was able to “lie down and sleep” as he observed, “I wake again, because the Lord sustains me”. Believers like us may also question, Lord, how many are our foes, and like David, our protection and help at all times comes from God. As believers, when we face hard circumstances and sleepless nights, we must place our total trust in God, as He helps us “lie down and sleep” and protects us and gives us rest. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 25 2026 • Jacob was a young man and as the Bible put it, a deceiver. But God kept working with him just as He continuously works with each of us. GREETINGS SAINTS. Jacob was traveling through the desert, having a rough trip. One night while he slept, he had a dream in which he saw the Lord standing at the top of a huge staircase and saying, “Jacob, I will protect you wherever you go. I will be with you continually until I give you everything that I have promised.” In awe, when Jacob woke up he thought, "Surely the Lord was in this place, and I was not aware of it." In this story, God is showing us that He’s the God of desert places, of lonely times, of difficult seasons. He’s right there with us when we feel alone, forgotten, and discouraged even if we do not realize He's there. God will continue to make things happen that we aren't able to make happen for ourselves. He won't stop until He’s given us everything He’s promised.  Stay faithful! Stay hopeful! God has not forgotten us. Have a blessed day. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 24 2026 🫂 As believers, each of us must strive to be, as the Bible says, "men of valor" and "women of good character". GREETINGS SAINTS. King Solomon and King David are easy to find references of what is considered men of valor. But references to a woman of good character happen, I've been told, at least 3 times, one being in reference to Ruth. This status was voiced by Boaz who recognizes the Herculean effort that Ruth exemplifies to save not only the life of her mother-in-law, Naomi, but also her husband’s legacy. She may not have stood on a battlefield like David or Solomon with sword in hand, but Ruth earned her title by setting aside her self-interests for the sake of others. As believers, not only is this an honorable choice, it is our calling to care for our family members and to care for others. The beauty found in both women and men "...should not come from outward adornment... Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight." The Bible tells us, "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 23 2026 ✝️ We may have a relationship with God, but being a Christian doesn’t mean life is going to be perfect. If we’re going to see God prosper us in the midst of the difficulty, we have to stay productive, we have to keep using our gifts, keep stretching, keep being good to people. GREETINGS SAINTS! No need to put our dreams on hold because we’re in a difficult place. God can make us prosperous even in the affliction. Trusting God in difficult times is more than a command throughout the Bible, it’s a gift that shows us God is with us. We don’t have to walk alone. As we learn to trust God more, we begin to see that He is working on our behalf to make the wrong things right. Just as we lean on friends during difficult times, we can lean on God and the Bible to walk us through the fire. He is always with us. Any difficulties we face cannot keep us from being productive and fruitful even while we're in the trouble and disappointment. As believers, God will prosper us wherever we’re planted. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 22 2029 💯 As we spend time in prayer and reading Scripture, the Spirit will help us with the temptations or habits that might spoil our relationship with others and our relationship with Christ. GREETINGS SAINTS. When we do or say things that we have been taught aren't from a spiritually good place, we rationalize and may think, "this one time, it's not that bad." God will forgive us YES — but believers like us must lean not in our own understanding and in all our ways submit to Him. Little things like bitterness, “unwholesome talk”, or even harmful influence from others can slip into our lives and be hardly noticed. We must avoid negative, hurtful speech and instead use our words to encourage and bless others. As believers, we are called to use our speech by being thoughtful and empathetic. Our words should be a vehicle for God's favor, leaving the listener in a better, more encouraged place than before. The Bible tells us, "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good character.'" The people we surround ourselves with heavily influence our values and behavior. Let's remember to watch out for each other so that no one misses God's grace. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 21 2029 💯The Bible tells us, "Every good and perfect thing comes from above..." so remember FEAR does not come from God. God gives believers like us power, love and self-discipline. GREETINGS SAINTS! POWER which is not brute force but spiritual strength to endure hardships and fulfill God's purpose. LOVE which is that selfless, sacrificial love of Christ that guides our actions and removes anxious thoughts if only we have faith and believe. SELF-DISCIPLINE which is "a sound mind" or "self-control" resulting in the ability to regulate our emotions. This allows us to think clearly, and make wise, calm decisions rather than panicking. As believers, we can rely on the Holy Spirit to give us the courage and clarity needed for every situation that is a part of God's calling when we are ready and able to bend to His will. We must rise above personal doubts, anxieties, and insecurities by anchoring ourselves in the inner strength and peace that is provided by the Holy Spirit. Keep Him fist and remember to stay in prayer.

May 20 2026 The Bible tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt..." GREETINGS SAINTS. God is eager to help and give wisdom freely to all who ask, without finding fault or scolding us for needing assistance. When believers like us bring a request to God, we must trust in His ability and willingness to answer. We all will have moments of confusion, stress, or decision-making, but believers are encouraged to pray for God’s perspective rather than relying solely on our human reasoning or worldly advice. Here's a quick story:

Gripped by the gravity of the promises he was making to his bride, a young groom found himself stumbling due to doubt as he repeated his wedding vows. He thought due to his normal human frailties, how could he make these promises and believe they’re possible to keep? After the reception, the groom led his wife to the chapel, hand in hand, where he prayed—for more than two hours—that God would help him keep his promise to love and care for his new wife.

What a powerful action of one of God's children who deeply knows the power of prayer and yes, 36 years later they are happily still together. Believers like us simple must trust that God is a loving and willing provider of the insight we need. He promises to generously give wisdom to anyone who asks, provided they ask in unwavering faith rather than doubting. Keep God first and remember to stay in prayer. Keep God first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 19 2026 Psalms 34 gives a powerful reminder to trust God through every season. We can be reassured that when we are suffering, God is not distant, but intimately present in our pain. Believers can lean on Him during anxious times, and at all times we should recognize His constant, loving protection. GREETINGS SAINTS. David testifies that when he was desperate and afraid, he called out to God, and God answered and freed him from his "anxious fears". It’s easy to be grateful when things are going our way. But be ready to experience the grace of God when we have songs of praise in our heart, when every circumstance says we should be depressed. Those of us who desire a good life should guard our words, turn away from evil, and pursue peace. Scripture describes how God's angels are encamped around us who seek Him, acting as a bodyguard and shield. During the sunny days, and during those stormy days, as for me, "I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Keep God first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 18 2026 ✝️ Jesus made God’s purpose His priority. GREETINGS SAINTS! The Bible tells us of one occasion after healing those who were sick and demon-possessed, Jesus went to a solitary place to pray. The disciples came, saying, “Everyone is looking for you!”. Some of those seeking Him were likely requesting healing. Christ, however, didn’t allow urgency or His sudden popularity to determine what He’d do next. “Let us go . . . to the nearby villages,” He said, “so I can preach there also. That is why I have come”. Jesus followed His priority which was God's purpose for Him to preach. As believers, we sometimes question if we should say no to a request or a demand so we're able to to do what God wants us to do. Finding our purpose can be defined when we approach Him in prayer or led by His wisdom found in the Scriptures. Let’s spend our life doing what God wants us to do. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 17 2026 ☀️ GREETINGS SAINTS - It's a new day. Every decision, every habit, and attitude is a "seed". If we invest our time and invest our energy in selfish desires, we will harvest devastation and negative consequences from our selfishness. But when we as believers plant seeds of spiritual growth and plant seeds by loving others, we will reap positive and eternal rewards. BUT BE SINCERE: WE CANNOT TRICK GOD OR OUTSMART THE LAWS HE HAS ESTABLISHED. There will always be people who may fool others or even themselves regarding their true intentions. But God sees the heart and ensures the harvest matches what was planted. Let's not get tired of doing good, because in time we'll have a positive and plentiful harvest if we don't give up. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 16 2026 📖 A yoke was a wooden beam joining two oxen for labor. Jesus invites us to be yoked with Him and He will share that heavy load and guide us and comfort us through those difficult times. GREETINGS SAINTS. If we start our day dreading something: STOP, look up and give thanks knowing God promises to make it easier than it seems. Today and every day, God is arranging good things along with healing and favor. He is doing these things so we don't have to do everything on our own strength and ability. As believers, we must stay strong and fight the good fight with faith. When it doesn't happen right away, or when it doesn't happen overnight, we must keep believing, keep declaring God's promises, and keep doing the right thing. He is always there with open arms. All we must do is go to Him with all our burdens and cares and He will give us rest. God is STILL in control making difficult moments something we can bear. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 15 2026 📖 Believers like us are continuously striving to be able to put our full trust in God no matter what. When troubles arise, we fully intend to trust God in all things, but it’s challenging with all the fears, doubts, and worries swirling in our heads. GREETINGS SAINTS! Scripture describes David 's deep trust and joy in God as the ultimate refuge. Like David, we must find contentment in God. In Him we'll find true joy leading to "fullness of joy" rather than looking for happiness in worldly success or wealth. God is our "inheritance" and "cup," indicating that a life dedicated to Him is the ultimate, fulfilling reward, which is far superior to material possessions. As true believers, let's live with a "heart for God," by finding safety and joy in Him and seeking inspiration from the good and positive events in our life. Peace is found by strengthening our own trust in God—even through times of confusion and disappointment. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 14 2029 • To abide in Jesus is to develop the habit of having constant communion with Him – leaning on Him, resting in Him, pouring our hearts out to Him, thanking Him, knowing Him through His Word. God, the Father is our strength and sufficiency, our constant companion and best Friend. God's love never ends! The Bible assures us that we as believers can “know and rely on the love God has for us”. God doesn’t love us because of anything we have or haven’t done. His love isn’t based on our worthiness. God's love is based on His goodness and faithfulness. When the world around us is unloving and unkind, we can rely on God’s unchanging love as our source of hope and peace. Our heavenly Father’s heart has gone out to us through the gift of His Son and His Spirit. How comforting is the assurance that God loves us with love that never ends! Keep His name in your mouth and in your heart ALL THROUGH THE DAY! Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 13 2026 😊 Paul, a faithful and loving follower of Christ had friends he loved💛: the Philippian church. In one of the challenging and dark episodes in his life, they stood by him while he sat chained and imprisoned on death row. The Philippians were a loving church, and they loved Paul. Part of his love back to them was a prayer. Paul prays for them and believers like us to love to overflow with knowledge and discernment, enabling us to approve excellent things and live pure lives. His prayer emphasizes intelligent love over sentimentality, focusing on character growth and Christlikeness. Paul's prayer is showing that love is not just emotion; it must grow in knowledge to understand God's will and apply it to daily situations. This “educated love” allows Christians to distinguish between good and bad, choosing what is excellent and matters most. The goal is to help believers like us to live holy, blameless lives that are uncompromised, ready for the day of Christ's return. Christian growth is rooted in a deeper love for God and others, guided by spiritual understanding to reflect Jesus in all aspects of life. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 12 2026 🌟God IS the power that strengthens us in times of difficulty. He is greater than any force that comes against us in times of trouble. Believers like us must put pain, hurt and discouragement behind us and get back our passion to live and believe in Him. GREETINGS SAINTS! We may have lost some things and difficulties may have come suddenly, but be encouraged in God’s promises. If we get our passion back and start believing again, we’re going to get back all that was lost. God knows what belongs to us and even though it may look as if nothing will change, God is not limited by what limits us. He is going to bring us out better than we were before. God’s strength is perfect. His love offers secure protection. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 10 2026Sometimes it’s as though believers like us are carrying all these heavy bags and then we wonder why life is a struggle, why we’re tired. It’s because we aren’t created to live with the heavy burden of guilt, condemnation, and shame. GREETINGS SAINTS! Scripture tells us to “lay aside the weights that can easily entangle us.” It’s time to lay aside those burdens and acknowledge that today is a new day. The accuser has held us back long enough. Nothing we’ve done in the past is too much for the mercy of God. As believers, we are redeemed and we are restored. Jesus extends an invitation to all who are weary, offering a place of genuine rest and renewal. By embracing the gentle and humble way He teaches, we discover a profound peace that brings true rest to our souls. Amidst burnout and emotional exhaustion, the cornerstone for finding peace is Christ. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 10 2026GOOD MOTHERS DAY GREETINGS TO YOU ALL. First and foremost, let us give thanks to the Father for giving us this day, and all the days we share love that has been given to us. The Bible tells us, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” God is saying that we’re going to be blessed when we learn to release the impurities of life, releasing all the things that will infect us. Bitterness, guilt, worry, doubt, and self-pity are impurities that we can't avoid. We have to let them go and flush them from our spirit or they will contaminate and poison us. These things won't hurt us however, if they just pass through. If we let them go, God will fill our life with good things and we "will see God". Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.

May 9 2026 "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." GREETINGS SAINTS. Scripture gives us this message and it fills me with His joy. God is unchangeable and sends blessings like rain and sun on both the just and unjust. He is both the creator and the source of all that is pure and beneficial. As believers, we should celebrate accomplishments, but at the same time we should give glory to God. The praiseworthy things in our lives can ultimately be traced back to Him. The Bible reminds believers like us, "For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen." Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 8 2026 🌟 When Jesus’ follower and friend Lazarus died, many assumed that Jesus was too late. Lazarus had been in his tomb for four days before Christ arrived, but He turned this moment of anguish into a miracle when He raised him from the dead. “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” GREETINGS SAINTS. Just as Jesus raised Lazarus from death to life, EACH DAY that same unchanging everlasting Jesus offers us new life through Him. By sacrificing His life on the cross, Christ paid the penalty for our sins and EACH DAY offers us forgiveness when we accept His gift of grace. We’re freed from the bondage of our sins. We're renewed by His everlasting love, and given the opportunity to change the course of our lives. As believers, we often take for granted how Jesus has changed our lives, so let us give thanks how He never gives up on us. Be well today Saints and and always Keep Him First.

May 6 2026🫂 At an early age we're taught that God KNOWS our mind before we do. God understands our thoughts, intentions, and words before they are spoken. He knows what we are going to say before we articulate it and understands the hidden motives and true intentions behind each of our words. Even when we pray and may be frustrated that we can't find the right words, God understands us perfectly knowing our hearts. As we grow in our faith, knowledge, and trust, we develop the way to align our hearts with His, helping us trust more in His timing. God already knows our desires and inner thoughts. When we cry out, God hears all our prayers while we learn to desire what He desires! Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 5 2026  God is carrying us through each storm! Whenever we tell ourselves, “I can’t...," we're being defeated by our own thinking. The battle starts in our mind. GREETINGS SAINTS! Right now, God is working IN US! He’s bigger than any temptation, bigger than any outside influence. He created us to be free, and grants us the grace to overcome. As believers, God promises to be present within life's challenges, ensuring survival through Him. He is our safe hiding place. When we seek His protection, we find security and courage and the source of power in times of distress. That temptation, that difficulty, that problem outside of us may be strong, but the power in us is stronger. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 4 2026Greetings Saints! As believers we strive to be close to God and remain in that safe space. There are times however, when we stray not knowing just how far. In the natural world, we begin to realize things may not be going our way and trouble seems to be everywhere. Even then we may feel unprotected not remembering who we are—one of God's children—and we need to find our way back to God's divine protection within His loving arms. Troubles will soon pass and we can rest in the peace that the Good Shepard is ALWAYS searching for us no matter how far we stray, "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost". God Himself will intervene to search for, rescue, and look after His scattered, neglected sheep, acting as a faithful shepherd during those "cloudy and dark" days. When we feel lost, trapped, or isolated, our Heavenly Father sees our plight and never will leave us stranded. "For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them...". Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 3 2026Greetings Saints! Gathering together once again allows us to lift up His Name and reinforce a consistent pattern of relying on God each day. By creating this daily rhythm, we strengthen our dependence on Him and cultivate a deeper sense of faith in our lives. As believers, many of us are starting this day by consciously focusing on God’s love rather than the anxieties and uncomfortable, uneasy moments of life. We have learned to rely on God’s love rather than our own understanding. Bible verses like: "Show me the way I should go"; "I lift up my soul to you", continue to give us guidance in our actions and choices. We know total dedication and entrusting everything to God is what's needed to live a full life. Today and every day we know God restores our soul. He is our provider, fighting our battles and supplying all our needs. By giving God the glory and letting Him arise in our life, we won't be defeated. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 2 2026 🫂 Scripture tells us that God is gracious, God is patient and loving; that He is forgiving and does not lift up or reject us according to our sins. The Bible continues by telling believers like us that God is for us, and if God is for us, who can be against us? God is always on our side and wants the best for us. Let us say it again that when God is for us, nothing will come against us. Not the pain of our past, not any mistake we’ve made, not our worst enemy and not anything else on this earth. Instead of dwelling on what we imagine is against us, dwell on what He is—He is faithful, He is loving, He is with us, and He is for us! God is so good as He continues to choose believers like us while equipping us with everything we need. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

May 1 2026💛 The people in our lives are not always going to be there. As believers, let us not wait until they’re gone to recognize and appreciate what we have. Don’t take for granted all the good things in our lives, stay connected. Take time for the people God gives us.

There will always be more work, more challenges, and more problems to solve. Dreams as well as problems will resolve themselves in God’s timing. Worrying about them doesn’t make them work out any sooner. Stay in the moment and experience each gift presented to us. Give thanks to Our Heavenly Father for the beauty He has provided for each day, especially through family and the people we love. God shows us ways to live well and live wisely and how to never allow worry or disappointments to keep us from His plan. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

April 30 2026 🫂Greed, sin, lust, and hate can overtake our lives and dominate our thoughts if we're not prayerful. Left untended, the seed of a wrong thought may develop until it controls our desires and actions like a “sin that so easily entangles”and holds us back from growing spiritually.

The Bible encourages us to “throw off everything that hinders” so that we as believers can “run with perseverance the race marked out for us”. To break free requires that we acknowledge we need help to handle the sin. This can be difficult if we’ve convinced ourselves and others that it’s not a serious issue or that we have no sin.

Once we sincerely admit the problem, Jesus welcomes our prayers of confession and forgives us immediately. He can show believers like us how to change our life patterns and, through the power of the Holy Spirit, help us to overcome the restraints that prevent us from flourishing. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

April 29 2026 💛 Each day through Christ, we are offered new life. By sacrificing His life on the cross, He paid the penalty for our sins and each day offers us forgiveness when we accept His gift of grace. Accepting Jesus as our Savior guarantees a new beginning. Believers like us must turn away from sin and seek God's forgiveness which each day cleanses us. By centering our attention on God's Word, we gradually distance ourselves from the distractions of the world. Each day, this focus enables us to walk more closely in the spirit, opening our hearts to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Through this process, the Holy Spirit shapes and nurtures a renewed nature within us, transforming our lives from the inside out. We’re freed from the bondage of our sins, renewed by His everlasting love, and given the opportunity to change the course of our lives. We often take for granted how Jesus has changed our lives. April 28 2026 😇 Let’s take a moment to reflect on the motivations that led us to embrace this journey as followers of Christ. Recalling these reasons not only strengthens our commitment, but also clarifies why we have established the priorities that guide our lives today. The Bible tells us how Jesus offers rest to the burned-out and the weary and has invited us to exchange heavy burdens for His "unforced rhythms of grace". He teaches that true rest—the unforced rhythms of grace—are found by walking with Him and learning His gentle ways. Following Christ provides support and rest without causing discomfort and living under pressure. As believers, it is essential for us to pause and truly appreciate the things that are good and honorable in the eyes of God and to admire, appreciate and be inspired by all that is beautiful. The best of what can be in our lives is ours to create and experience. God gave us the skills so let's not be afraid to use them! Following Jesus is not about performing under strict religious pressure, but about adopting a sustainable, gentle way of living in partnership with Him. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

April 27 2026 🫂 I love You, Lord, you are my strength! We should all start each day with this declaration. This opening declaration of a psalm of thanksgiving by David expresses deep personal affection and gratitude to God, acknowledging Him as the source of personal power and safety. As believers, our God does that for each of us. The Bible tells us of David’s love for and trust in God that is evident in his names for Him. He calls God his strength, rock, fortress, deliverer, shield, horn of salvation, and stronghold. This same God can be trusted to help believers like us as we leave our fears and worries with Him. Let us all give thanks that we can let go of all our worries, fears and anxieties knowing God is in complete control of our lives and will keep us from falling. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

April 26 2026 🫂 Jesus never let the expectations of others cause Him to waver in His divine mission. People flocked to see Him because they heard of the signs and miracles He’d performed. When they found Him and believed that He was the promised Messiah, they wanted Him as a military leader so He’d save them from Roman rule. The Bible tells us, “Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself”.

Despite the pressure to rescue people the way they wanted, Christ focused on God’s plan to rescue them the way they needed to be rescued—not from earthly troubles but from the power of “sin and death”. Jesus’ strong will to provide what we as believers need is why we can trust Him in all circumstances. When God’s ways don’t seem to align with our expectations, we can be assured that His plan is always better—because He doesn’t waver in His will to save us. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.

After Jesus was baptized, God said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Then Jesus was led into the desert to be tempted for forty days. While in the desert, the enemy spoke to Jesus and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread." This temptation challenges Jesus' identity and urges Him to use His divine power to prove who He was. Knowing He had no reason to prove anything to the enemy, Jesus responds by saying, "It is written: 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God'". This message emphasizes that obedience to God’s Word is more vital for life than physical food or worldly needs. As with Jesus, it really doesn’t matter what the enemy or other people think of us. As believers, we have nothing to prove. When God looks at us, He says, “That’s My child, in whom I am well pleased.” Others may not be supportive of what we need, but we are already approved, accepted, and anointed. As believers, it's up to us to live a full life feeling good about who we are knowing God made us just as we are and He is well pleased. Keep Him first and remember to say your prayers.

God does not abandon those who wait for Him, but He actively works on our behalf. As believers, an important aspect of life is patience. We must have patience and wait on God and rest and trust in His timing. God prepares blessings and interventions that are unimaginable. "Waiting" is not passive and means staying in expectation and resting in faith while God is at work. Stay in faith, keep doing the right thing, keep praising and giving all glory to God, and keep speaking victory in the face of defeat. Scripture says that God will work all things together for our good. As believers, our life is not based on one difficult season. Let go of what didn't work out knowing God's timing is perfect. God is still on the throne and at the right time, we'll be blessed and fulfilled and forget about the negative things of our past. Be patient, God is still there. Keep Him first and remember to stay in prayer.
